REJUVENATION AND BEAUTY.
Ancient civilizations contributed heavily to health,
medicine and the life science along with other
physical and esoteric sciences. The most ancient of
civilizations grew along the river banks of Nile,
Euphrates-Tigris, and Indus. Developments in the
technology they achieved, reflected in their
approaches to health and wellness. Among these,
only the medical science of Siddha Vaidya, that
developed in the Indus River valley survives in any
form today. Siddha Vaidya, along with the
Dravidian people, migrated to the southern part of
India some 3500 years ago, where this indigenous
system of medicine exists and serves the
population effectively today.
Beauty and health are synonymous in Siddha
Vaidya. Hence, physical beauty is given emphasis
as an outward expression of health. Beauty
depends on many factors such as nutrition, general
health, a positive attitude and the optimum
physical surroundings. From Siddha Vaidya, the
most ancient herbal medical system, are derived the
age old remedies for external health and glowing
beauty.
Siddha Vaidya developed primarily as a curative
and preventative medical science. It also gave
importance to wellness, beauty, longevity, and life
span, with thousands of herbal formulations to
promote these aspects. The beauty and life span
treatments in Siddha Vaidya has a firm base on a
sound understanding of physiology and other basic
medical sciences. Using the knowledge in herbology
and its effect on various bodily functions, with and
without other physical agents like heat and steam
to modulate their actions, Siddha Vaidya laid a firm
foundation in longevity treatments for those days
and for the future.
Conforming to the modern ideals in preventative
health, the longevity treatments aim at promoting
physical beauty, preservation of physical
functions, healthful achievement of life span, and
maintenance of an individual as a productive
member of society, thereby contributing to their
self image and self confidence. The explanation of
these treatments touches the cutting edge of our
knowledge in physiology, immunology, and the
healing response of the body.
Current concepts and spa technology is about to
take on a role as an active preventative health
provider. In this day and age some progressive
insurance companies see the benefit and role of
spas as a source of health maintenance and cost
savings. In the future spas may occupy a major
role of importance in this avenue. Ashoka Herbals
is in the process of positioning itself in the cutting
edge of this growing field and Siddha Vaidya will
assume an important role in this growing health
industry.
According to Siddha Vaidya, human body is a
system of self-governing, self-maintaining, and
self-healing systems. Embedded in the DNA
structure is the blue print of this miraculous
process. Siddha Vaidya longevity treatments
achieve its goal by stimulating these existing
mechanisms to an extent that is not achieved by
modern science. Many animals retain their ability
to regrow organs and regenerate extremities. To a
certain limit, this property lies hidden in the human
body, as inflammation and repair mechanisms.
Utilizing this information can lead to break through
in the field of health and longevity. Siddha Vaidya
treatment techniques, unlocks this potential,
leading to a variety of beneficial changes in the
human physiology. Ela Kirzhi, is one of the best
known longevity treatments to utilize this hidden
knowledge. Ela Kirzhi activates the regeneration
mechanisms, normally hidden in the cells genetic
structure, to help us attain healthy, functional,
fully active, productive longevity.
Siddha Vaidya imposes rigorous standards on its
practitioners. One is to keep this ancient system
pure to its roots that have been time tested through
millennia. Strict codes of conduct and behavior are
imposed on its practitioners.
GUIDELINES FOR HELPING DIGESTION
When there are any signs of improperly digested
food or ama, such as bad breath, heavily coated
tongue, gas, cloudy urine, nausea or digestive
upset, it is best to give the system time to clean

skipping a meal until a sense of appetite returns.

exhausted.
Sip warm water with your meal to aid digestion.
Never drink ice water or milk with your meal.

cupped together.
Eat fresh, local, seasonal foods whenever possible.

especially yeasted bread.
